Dear colleague,

To complete the application process, we seek permission from the Headteacher/Principal/member of the Senior Leadership Team to confirm the school/educational setting is in full support of the applicant. The applicant is applying for a place to study towards a School Mental Health Specialist Level 7 qualification with our partners at Leeds Beckett University.

I confirm that the applicant has spoken with me about the course and that I agree with the applicant participating in the programme.

I believe that the applicant is able to meet the demands of the programme and has a GCSE grade C or above in English language or the equivalent.

As a setting, we will support them to apply the learning in our setting and thus enable them to complete the assignments in line with the university’s ethical framework.

The applicant works in our setting for more than 0.8 of a week in a role which supports identified pupils with mental health needs.
