School Mental Health Specialist badges

The start of this academic year 2022-23 is the fifth year of Minds Ahead, and we are delighted to be welcoming our new students to the School Mental Health Specialist programme.

Working in partnership with Leeds Beckett University, we created a part-time online mental health programme which was the first of its kind. It is still the only postgraduate programme exclusively for school colleagues wishing to develop specialist knowledge in the emerging area of public mental health.

Welcoming new students is an exciting time for us as an organisation each academic year. Our aim is to revolutionise mental health in schools, and we know that this takes both dedication and time. We understand that this is a big commitment for anyone starting to study with us on their journey to becoming a qualified School Mental Health Specialist, and we are here to support you every step of the way. It is a privilege to work with you to help you support your students, staff and wider school community.

How to access the School Mental Health Specialist badges

We have created some badges for students to share on social media, to let everyone know that you are studying to become a School Mental Health Specialist with Minds Ahead.

There is a selection of pre-made badges to share instantly, or you can create a custom badge with your photo and the photo overlays in Canva. Share either as a square post or why not create a profile photo instead? Don’t worry if you’ve never used Canva before – we’ve got a short tutorial to show you how! It’s really easy and should only take a few minutes to create.

If you started studying with us last year, or have already qualified as a School Mental Health Specialist, we have badges for you too!

Find all SMHS badges on Google Drive here. Please download the relevant ones to you, and share with any of your cohort who might be interested.

You can download Canva for free! Find your version below:
