Minds Ahead can support your school, college or event by helping your staff understand the role they can play in strengthening mental health in schools. This ensures that colleagues have increased confidence and understanding of how to support students, each other and themselves.
Our mental health trainings and seminars have been designed for a diverse range of colleagues across the UK and abroad to improve mental health in schools and colleges. We can speak at your inset day or teacher training programmes.
We have worked with small groups of senior level leaders as well as participated in conference size events of several hundred people and everything in between. We will facilitate your colleagues’ discussions, and ensure the full contribution of all participants.
We have extensive experience of delivering professional development programmes, including accredited qualifications, to teachers, school staff and school leaders.
Minds Ahead have recently trained the senior mental health leads in all the 21 schools within the Trust. The training included updates on the national picture and an opportunity for schools to share their existing practice and work through their challenges. The training was well-received and is now informing Trust-wide strategy on key issues such as parental awareness, transition, anger management and exam stress.
