We relentlessly focus on the needs and realities of schools. We know that schools and colleges, their governors, leadership, teachers and other colleagues are doing great work which improves the mental health of the next generation. We also know that schools need quality support, resources and training so that they can improve, learn from each other and develop this new approach. It is our mission to provide these.

As a Learning & Development Specialist Coach, you will have a passion for driving innovation within the education field, committed to quality and evidence-based solutions that tackle the mental health challenges faced by schools and colleges. You will play a key role in supporting the leadership development of senior mental health leads within a range of settings. You will deliver CPD courses, workshops, coaching and tailored support in school leadership of mental health.

Our programmes have an intensive review of school level policy and strategy. We are seeking colleagues able to review key school documentation with a focus on supporting the senior mental health lead to improve their whole school approach to mental health. You will then run review discussions with the senior lead via the phone or zoom.

We are seeking colleagues who can work for 2, 3 or 4 days a week during January, February and March 2022. It is possible that there will be opportunities for further work, should there continue to be large numbers of learners on the courses we are delivering.

You will be delivering our existing and new programmes to senior leaders from all types of schools and colleges.  You will be a team player, able to work with and support senior leaders from schools, mental health specialists and other experts to achieve outcomes.

You will be an experienced deliverer of professional learning programmes: able to draw on a range of information to deliver highly effective professional learning programmes. You will work closely with our team at Minds Ahead as well working with our colleagues at The Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools, a partnership with Leeds Beckett University. You will be delivering a range of programmes and supporting individuals in schools and colleges which have signed up to our short term programmes. You will be good at managing different tasks, working with different people in an online setting, ensuring effective coverage of skills and high quality is maintained and ensuring effective business processes are maintained, including reporting, tracking, and communication with partners where appropriate.

We want the right person. If that is you, we want to discuss how we can work together. We are a flexible employer, committed to good mental health, service excellence, family and challenging the status-quo. If the fit is right, we can make it work. Find out more:
