Minds Ahead is an innovative Social Enterprise reshaping school mental health, by equipping schools with the knowledge, skills and networks to make sustainable improvements. Here’s our track record since inception, in 2017:

Purpose of the role: The digital marketing coordinator is responsible for increasing visibility and engagement online through the website, campaigns, email, social media, search engine optimisation and other various digital activities to acquire and retain customers, increase visitors across Minds Ahead’s platforms and promote Minds Ahead globally. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Minds Ahead’s brand, as well as executing digital marketing communications.


The Digital Marketing Coordinator will: 


Deliver effective digital marketing

  • Plan, prioritise, manage, optimise and evaluate Minds Ahead’s website, digital campaigns and projects, as identified in the annual marketing plan
  • Utilise a range of techniques including pay-per-click, search engine optimisation and others across a wide range of channels including social media, video creation, SMS and search engines to promote our campaigns.
  • Email Marketing: create targeted email campaigns in-house. 
  • Making posts on social media and other channels that support the key messages of Minds Ahead
  • Work closely with the Professional Development team and wider teams to ensure tight integration of activities across the marketing division. 
  • Flag issues with the website’s user experience that are detracting from successful digital marketing (e.g. high bounce rates) and outline the business benefits of making changes
  • Manage the digital and social media tracking links for ongoing digital activity
  • Work closely with the developer for the implementation of new plugins and software and ensure that the website and other platforms are functioning effectively
  • Ensure the application of values, brand identity and tone of voice to all marketing communications in line with the reputation and ambitions of Minds Ahead 


Monitor and report on effectiveness

  • Regular tracking and reporting on agreed KPIs for digital channels, websites and campaigns on a timely basis
  • Provide evidence-based analysis of the types of content that drive the most traffic and engagement on digital and social platforms, and seek to develop and capitalise on this understanding
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure that digital marketing is effective and supports the business objectives
