Dr Geraldine Strathdee, C.B.E. O.B.E, Royal College Psychiatrist of the Year in 2012.  Her current experience includes the following roles: National Clinical Director for Mental Health based in NHS England; Medical Director for mental health and dementia for London; National Professional Adviser to Healthcare Commission & CQC; National Clinical Lead, Mental Health Intelligence Network; PHE Specialist adviser on Population mental health, integrated care and prevention; Hon. Consultant Psychiatrist, Oxleas NHSFT; Visiting Professor, Integrated mental health programme, UCL Partners. Patron, Positive Practice collaborative; Trustee, the Poppy Factory.

Geraldine is a parent, clinician, academic, policy maker, data geek, lifelong learner with a passion to make the world a better place through promoting the understanding of mental health. She is a mother of four, and firmly believes that you get out of life what you put in! Lifelong commitment to health and social justice, believes in the power of communities and leaders with integrity.
